"I am proud to be nominated for the award and I am hopeful that I would receive the award," said Pallikal after her nomination.
Pallikal clinched the prestigious Junior British Open title last year and has won the German Open, Dutch Open, French Open, Australian Open, Scottish Open on the European Junior Squash Circuit.
She is currently ranked 48th in the world.
