Bangalore: A twin strike from Karthik saved New Horizon Engineering College against KVS Jr College at the Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar - KSFA Inter-Collegiate football tournament on Tuesday. New Horizon were 0-2 down by the 24th minute. Gilbert (14th) and Kiran Kumar (24th) struck for KVS, but Karthik brought his team back into the reckoning. In other matches, St Joseph's Comp College got a walkover from Vivekananda Institute of Technology, while RBANMS beat Mahaveer Jain PU College 2-0. Naveen opened the scoring in the 13th minute and Silvens increased the lead just five minutes later.
