Pardhasardhi stretches Kadhe
Pune: The second day of the Walchand Cup under-16 National Tennis Tournament turned out to be a tough day for the city players. In the second round, top seed Arjun Kadhe had to sweat hard before scripting a 2-6 7-6 (4) 6-3 win over Karnataka's AK Pardhasardhi, while 14th seed Anvit Bendre went down 3-6 6-4 0-6 to Delhi's Karan Salwan. Kadhe was 1-4 down in the second set but managed to level the scores 4-4, Pardhasardhi took the match into the tie-breaker. Later, he gave no chance to Pardhasardhi and clinched the third set 6-3.
