Madrid: Real Betis and Jose Mari have agreed to cancel the former Spain international striker's contract, the Primera Liga club said on their website (www.realbetisbalompie.es).

Spanish media reported that the 30-year-old, who has had spells with Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Villarreal and played four times for Spain, was looking to continue his career outside Spain, with a move to Greece a possibility.
