Saraswati of Orissa got silver while Jauna of Delhi bagged bronze in the event.

In the 1500m event, Wahida Rehman of Delhi emerged winner while Preeti of Haryana and Manpreet Kaur of Punjab bagged second and third positions respectively.

Renuka Mal of Kerala won the high jump event.

In discuss throw, Saroj of Delhi won the first place followed by Reetu of Haryana follwed by Oevi Gonk of Goa.
