New Delhi: The Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, which was held on November 9,has raised a whopping sum of Rs 1.63 crores for charity.

The corporate challenge team raised over 86 lakhs, 26 Dream Teamers raised Rs 54.49 lakhs, while Pledgers United also chipped in with their significant contributions.

"As the official charity partner we will ensure that the funds are disbursed to over 34 NGOs," Kavita Shah, CEO, Concern India Foundation said here today.

"We wish to make it a bigger success next year," she added.

The announcement was made here in an event that saw the presence of participating corporates, NGOs and individuals from different walk of life.
