New Delhi: Karan Rastogi's campaign in the the USD 15,000 ITF event in Kuwait came to a screeching halt today as he conceded his semifinal tie due to a back problem.

Fifth seed Rastogi was up against sixth seed Australian Miles Armstorng but did not take the court as his back injury flared up again.

Rastogi also withdrew from the two USD 50,000 Challenger tournaments, held in New Delhi last month, due to the injury.

He returns to the country on Sunday and next plays an ITF Futures tournament in Iran from June 16.
