JSCA demands strengthening Dhoni's security
Wednesday, December 31, 2008 18:14 [IST]
Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) today urged the state government to strengthen security for Team India skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni and his family following threat letters demanding a huge amount of money.

"Dhoni is no more a state player, but a national asset. Hence, the state government must ensure adequate security for him and his family," JSCA secretary Rajesh Verma Bobby said.

Bobby said JSCA would take up the issue with the state government.

The entire cricket fraternity of Jharkhand including JSCA was behind Dhoni like a rock, Bobby said.
