Thursday, November 20, 2008 20:43 [IST]

Kanpur: Harbhajan Singh, who nullified England's good start with three wickets in the middle overs in the third One Day International here Thursday, said he bowled an attacking line to get the wickets.

Harbhajan said the ground here was big and he could attack the batsmen. "The grounds in the last two matches were very small, so I was bowling a legstump line and trying to contain the batsmen. This ground was big so I could bowl outside the off-stump and attack the batsmen," said the Man-of-the-Match after India beat England by 16 runs via Duckworth Lewis method.

England openers were off to a good start. They were 79 for one before Harbhajan struck one after another in quick sucession to trigger a collapse. "I was a little slower in the air and getting good purchase of the track as I was tossing the ball up. I did not think of containing the batsmen, I only tried to get wickets. My bowling rhythm was good." he said. Harbhajan, who was handed keys of a Hero Honda CBZ Extreme for his effort, said he has not ridden a bike for a long time, but will defenitely try his hand on this one. "This a gift and I will ride it."
