Bhat in China Open badminton quarters

New Delhi: Indian shuttler Arvind Bhat reached the men s singles quarterfinal of China Open Super Series after pulling off a thriller against Peter Koukal of Czech Republic at Shanghai, Thursday. Bhat lost the first game but came back to prevail 18-21,21-18,21-15 in the second round match. He will next play local favourite Kai Pei. Bhat is the only Indian left in the draw after Chetan Anand and Saina Nehwal lost their respective first round matches Wednesday.
