Mumbai: The Indian challenge at the $15,000 ITF Futures Series came to an end with all five Indian players in the fray losing their singles matches on Wednesday in the pre-quarterfinals at MSLTA on Wednesday.
David Sodek of Czech Republic created the biggest upset of the day, shocking sixth seed Divij Sharan 7-6 (7) 3-6 6-4 to book a place in the quarterfinals.

After losing the first set rather cheaply, both players hung on to their serves in the second, forcing the set into a tie breaker which Raja won thanks to unforced errors by Lustig.
The Czech international recollected himself in the final set and booked a place in the quarterfinals.
Lucky loser Pirmin Haenle continued his dream run beating Virali-Murugesan Ranjeet 4-6 6-3 7-6 (4), while qualifier Sudanwa Sitaram went down to second seed Nathan Thomson 6-1 6-1.
