Sri Lanka declares first innings at 600/6

Colombo: Sri Lanka declared their first innings at 600 for six on day three of their first cricket Test against India at the Sinhalese Sports Club ground here on Friday.

Four Sri Lankan batsmen - Malinda Warnapura (115), Mahela Jayawardene (136), Thilan Samaraweera (127) and Tillakratane Dilshan (125 not out) - scored centuries as Sri Lanka reached their second highest total in Tests against India.

Harbhajan Singh (2/149), Ishant Sharma (2/124) and Zaheer Khan (2/156) were the wicket-takers for India.
