Mangalore: Seeded players faced little problem in advancing to the second round of the second Mangalore All-India Open Chess Tournament here today. In the first round, Grandmasters Pravin Thipsay of Mumbai and Dibyendu Barua of Kolkata registered victories over Abhijit J Kamath and Aaditt M K respectively.
A total of 280 players from 20 states are participating in the event.
