Slap row: Nanavati to submit report today
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 09:13 [IST]

Ahmedabad: BCCI-appointed Commissioner Sudhir Nanavati, who is probing the slap-row involving S Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh, will submit his report today.

Earlier, he was supposed to submit his report on Monday. However, the stipulated time of 15 days given to him to complete the inquiry also ends today.

Nanavati interviewed Singh, who slapped fellow Indian Test player Shantakumaran Sreesanth during a domestic Twenty20 match last month and Sreesanth last Friday.

He is unlikely to recommend any type of punishment to the players in his report.
