Hussey, Saha record highest sixth-wicket stand

Mohali: Kolkata Knight Riders' David Hussey and Wriddhiman Saha registered the highest sixth-wicket partnership in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The duo shared a 104-run stand against Kings XI Punjab here on Saturday, surpassing the unbeaten 73 by Chennai Super Kings' Michael Hussey and S. Badrinath.

The other statistical highlights of the match between Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders are:

# Hussey registered his maiden fifty in the IPL - 71 off 46 balls.

# Saha's unbeaten innings of 59 not out off 32 balls is his maiden fifty in Twenty20 cricket.

# Kings XI Punjab became the fourth team to post four victories, joining Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals.

# Knight Riders is the fourth team to lose four or more games in the tournament, joining Deccan Chargers (5), Bangalore Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians.

# Knight Riders have lost their last four games in a row, while Kings XI have registered four consecutive victories.

# Kings XI's Kumar Sangakkara is the fourth batsman to aggregate 200 runs in the IPL.

# Irfan Pathan's unbeaten 24 is his highest score in the IPL.

# Pathan, with Brad Hodge's wicket, became the leading wicket-taker (11 at 14.63 runs apiece) in the competition, bettering Zaheer Khan's tally of 10 at 18.30 runs apiece in six matches. Agarkar, Manpreet Gony and Rudra Pratap Singh, with eight wickets each, are placed at third position.

# Sreesanth (2/25) produced his best performance in the IPL.
