Chennai Super Kings taste first defeat in IPL

Chennai: Chennai Super Kings tasted their first defeat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they lost by eight wickets to Delhi Daredevils at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium here Friday. Chasing a target 170,Daredevils scored 172 for the loss of two wickets with skipper Virender Sehwag top scoring, making 71 and Gautam Gambhir 50.  

Chennai Super Kings scored 169 for the loss of six wickets against Delhi Daredevils in a Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 match at the M A Chidambaram Stadium here on Friday.

Sivaramakrishnan Vidyut was the top scorer with 54 while skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made 32.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Delhi Daredevils.
