Delhi Daredevils win by 10 runs

New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 10 runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium here on Wednesday.

Daredevils scored 191 for five after being sent into bat and then restricted Challengers to 181 for five.

For the Challengers, Jacques Kallis (54) and Rahul Dravid (38) were the main contributors with the bat.

Glenn McGrath shone with the ball for the Daredevils picking up four wickets for 29 runs.


The Delhi Daredevils were earlier propelled by Gautam Gambhir, who made 86.

Shikhar Dhawan (50) was the other main contributor with the bat.

For the Challengers, Jacques Kallis took two for 39.
 

Propelled by Gautam Gambhir's 86 runs, Delhi Daredevils scored 191 runs for the loss of five wickets against Bangalore Royal Challengers in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Wednesday.

Shikhar Dhawan (50) was the other main contributor with the bat. For Challengers, Jacques Kallis took two wickets for 39.

Earlier, Bangalore Royal Challengers skipper Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to field against Delhi Daredevils.
