Tuesday, April 22, 2008 11:37 [IST]
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to conduct a 15-day district-level summer training camp for students of class VIII to XII starting from May 1.

District Education Officers (DEO) have been instructed to make arrangements, such as selection of playgrounds at district headquarters as per the stipulated standards and ensure that the camps be organised at one or two places in each district, according to an official release.

Moreover, functions should be organised by inviting national and international level medal winners to mark the inaugural and conclusion of the camps. Noted sports personalities should be felicitated at the concluding function, the release added.

Further, the DEOs have also been asked to write to the Directorate of Public Instruction by April 30 and widely publicise the summer sports training camps, the release said.
