Bangalore: Reigning World Billiards Champion Pankaj Advani today unveiled his interactive website, pankajadvani.com to provide budding cueists all the tips, information and guidance about the game.

"The website, which forms the first phase of the Sportz People, an initiative by Sports Interactive (SI), sports information content enabler, being launched in India will provide young billard players, a direct access to me, providing them the opportunity to interact with me," the 22-year-old champion told reporters.

Exclusive audio-video content will be made available to users through the website. Podcasts, photographs and latest news concerning the billiards champion are some features currently available, Naveen Aranha, SI's Captain and CEO said.

Pankaj will personally address queries related to snooker and billiards. The website will also provide insights on the emergence of the sport in India, he said. "We would be developing the content of the website from time to time. We are also planning to include a live chat, which will happen periodically," Pankaj said.

Sports people aims at putting leading sporting personalities on the global information and media map, showcasing their achievements and creating a connections between the individuals and their fans, said Aranha.
