Daniel Chopra finishes tied 36th in PODS C'ship
Monday, March 31, 2008 14:43 [IST]
USA: Daniel Chopra signed off with a mundane final round of one-over 71 to finish tied 36th in the $5.3 million PODS Championship here.

The Indian-born Swede, a 10th tee starter, picked up a shot on the 11th and seventh holes but the bogey treble on 15th, sixth and ninth blighted his card and Chopra ended with a 72-hole total of four-over 288.

Sean O Hair survived a scare and fired a final round of 69 to lift his second US Tour title with an aggregate of 280.

Stewart Cink (282) began well but eventually went two-over 74 to share the second spot with John Senden (67), Ryuji Imada (68), George McNeill (69), Troy Matteson (69) and Billy Mayfair (72).
