Mansher wins trap gold at Indian Masters

Patiala, Mar 27 (PTI) National champion Mansher Singh won the men s trap event pipping Zorawar Sandhu and Manavjit Singh Sandhu at the Indian Masters Shooting Championship in memory of Sajjan Singh Sethi here today.

Mansher tallied 139 (120+19) while Zorawar Singh and Manavjit Singh Sandhu, who fired identical scores of 135, finished second and third respectively after a tie-shoot. Birendeep Sodhi, Anwar Sultan and Anirudh Singh ended uo being fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

Double trap event, featuring Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will start tomorrow.
