Friday, February 29, 2008 09:19 [IST]

Melbourne: Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in the last league match of the one-day cricket tri-series here today.

Both the teams have made just one change each to their sides with Australia resting opener Matthew Hayden and bringing in Brad Haddin in his place. For Sri Lanka, paceman Chaminda Vaas made way for Nuwan Kulasekera in the inconsequential match.

The best-of-three finals will be played between India and Australia from Sunday.

Teams:

Australia: Ricky Ponting (capt), Adam Gilchrist, James Hopes, Michael Clarke, Andrew Symonds, Mike Hussey, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Brad Hogg, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Bracken.

Sri Lanka: Dilruwan Perera, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chamara Silva, Chamara Kapugedera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Ishara Amerasinghe, Muttiah Muralitharan.
