Jaipur: Olympic silver medallist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Khel Ratna Manavjit Singh Sandhu will spearhead the Indian challenge in the Asian Clay Shooting Championship to be held here from February 21 to 28 here.
"Apart from Rajyavardhan, Manavjit and Mansher Singh there will be 11 other Shooters who already have booked their berth in forthcoming Beijing Olympics," Rajasthan Shooting Association President Sushil Choudhary said. The other major attractions will be Yuko Nakayama (Japan), Nassir Makalad (Kuwait), Abdul Al Rashido and Zaid Al Mutari (Kuwait), Nassir Al Atiya, Aziz Al Atiya (Qatar) and Saeed Al Khatoon (UAE).
"There will be about 129 shooters from 15 countries who would vie for honour in Trap and Skeet events here in the championship," said Choudhary.
