Kochi: Sachin Tendulkar feels cricket has changed a lot in recent times with fitness becoming an integral part of the game.

"The young crop of players were enjoying their game and it was good to see them in a positive frame of mind," Tendulkar said.

The Mumbai batsman was answering queries at an awards function here on Tuesday night.

Asked about the happiest moment in his cricket career, he said, "I cherish the wins gainst Australia, England and South Africa on their home turf as it was always my dream to taste success in away matches."

Former captain Rahul Dravid said the Twenty20 format was still evolving but stressed the basics were the same in all forms of cricket.

Fielding should be superlative and teams were "playing positive aggressive cricket," he said, referring to the shortest version of the game.

Dravid said he was delighted to see players hitting big shots in the Twenty20 matches.

About the attacking strokes played by the up and coming players, the former captain said that in his formative years he was told not to play the ball in the air and score runs through grounded shots.

At the function, mementoes were presented to some of the members of the Twenty20 World Cup team, including Dinesh Kaarthick, Rohit Sharma and S Sreesanth, as well as cricket manager Lalchand Rajput, bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad and fielding coach Robin Singh.
