London: Kimi Räikkönen confessedthat he was in no doubts that he made the correct decision to join Ferrari.

The former McLaren driver admitted his expectations of the Italian Scuderiawere more than matched by the warm welcome of his new team.

“I have been received here in a very nice way and I have a good feeling. Itis nice to be with Ferrari and I do not want to make any comparisons to thepast. It's a completely different story,” he said.

"Let's put it like this: In Maranello it is just as I expected it tobe. Here everything is different to what I have seen until now in my career.This is a team that welcomed me in a very warm hearted way; I think I have madea good decision when I decided to come to Ferrari," he said.

One of the criticisms levelled at his predecessor Michael Schumacher, wasthat the German failed to learn to speak Italian until very late into histenure with Ferrari.

Räikkönen however, insisted he would make the effort to learn the language.

“I will definitely learn Italian because it is very important to adapt asmuch as possible to the environment,” he revealed.

'Obviously it will take some time. Little by little I will also arrivethere, but anyway there won't be any problems because everyone in the teamspeaks English," he said.
