Hair to stand in two Minor Counties matches Saturday, January 13, 2007 04:20 [IST]
London: Banned Australian
umpire Darrell Hair will stand in two Minor Counties matches in England
next domestic season.
The Australian, who was removed from the International Cricket Council's elite
panel in November following the Oval Test fiasco, will officiate the matches in
addition to his duties as a member of the England and Wales Cricket Board's
reserve list.
Hair will umpire the games between Lincolnshire
and Bedfordshire at Cleethorpes on July 22-24 and Norfolk
v Lincolnshire at Manor
Park, near Norwich, on August 7-8.
