Sania Mirza posts win to give India 1-0 lead

 Melbourne: Sania Mirza defeated Sanja Ancic of Croatia to
give India a 1-0 lead in a Group B tie of the Hopman Cup mixed team tennis
competition at Perth today (Jan 4, 2007).
Sania cruised to a 6-2 6-3 victory over Sanja in the women's singles event to
give a winning start to India.
In the next match of the tie, Rohan Bopanna would take on Sanja's brother Mario
Ancic.
