Doha: M Bimoljit Singh booked a semifinal berth in the 60kg category of the Asian Games wushu competition after prevailing over North Korea's To Song Won 2-1.

After lagging behind 1-3 in the first round, Singh bounced back to score 4-0 and 5-0 in the next two rounds to advance to the last four.

In another match, Naresh Kumar Sharma was knocked out of quarterfinals in 52 kg category by K Chantra of Thailand.

The Indian won the first round but was knocked out of the second.
