India win toss, to bat first against West Indies

Kuala Lumpur: Indian captain Rahul Dravid wins the toss and elects to bat against the West Indies in the second match of the DLF Cup cricket tri-series at the Kinrara Oval here today (14 Sep, 2006).

India are playing pacemen R P Singh and Munaf Patel while Romesh Powar and S Sreesanth have been left out. Dinesh Mongia is the 12th man.

West Indies is going with the same side that lost the opening match of the tri-series to Australia on Tuesday (12 Sep, 2006).

Teams: India: Rahul Dravid (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammad Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Munaf Patel, R P Singh.

West Indies: Brian Lara (captain), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Dwayne Bravo, Wavell Hinds, Dwayne Smith, Carlton Baugh Jr, Ian Bradshaw, Jerome Taylor, Fidel Edwards.
