London: Michael Schumacher is giving little away as he enthuses over this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza, possibly for the last time as the Ferrari ace remains tight-lipped over his future.

"You cannot say more about Monza than this: the track is legendary. It is an important part of our sport and is unique of its kind. For us, it is always a great event driving here as we enjoy huge support," he says.

"As in previous years, we arrive at Monza with the title hanging in the balance but we are determined to change things. In the Constructors' Classification we are not too far off the lead and anything is still possible in the Drivers'. We have to attack and the fans can be sure that we will do our all. We have gathered significant data in the tests and this leads us to believe that we can get back to the top," he insists.

"Still, we have to wait to see how things develop during the race, especially after recent events. We are all buoyant and will count on our fans' support."

Schumacher's decision not to discuss his future until after the race has added to the pre-race build up, which was only compounded further on Wednesday after Renault announced that they had signed Finnish test driver Heikki Kovalainen.

The only team yet to announce their driver line-up for next season remains Ferrari and the question on everyone lips is which of their two drivers.
