Akron: Shiv Kapur, in only his second season as a professional on the international circuit, finishes tied 65th in his first appearance in a World Golf Championships series tournament at WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

The 24-year-old Indian golfer shoots a final round of four-over 74 and finishes with 13-over 283.

More importantly, the 27,322-euro Kapur picks up for his 65th place carries his past wins on the European Tour, euros 200,000 to 207,042, for the 97th place. That should secure his European Tour card next season, as the top 115 go through to the Tour.

Kapur starting on the tenth bogeyed the first two holes and then manages a birdie on his third, the 12th of the course, but with further bogeys on 14th and 15th, he was three-over at that stage. He has only one more bogey on the second, but no birdies the rest of the day.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods continues his winning streak beating Stewart Cink in a play-off on fourth hole to record his fourth successive tournament win, which also includes the British Open and the PGA championships.

Woods, admittedly not playing at his best, managed to stay in there for a play-off, where he beats Cink. Woods (68) and Cink (69) are tied at 10-under 270 before the play-off.

Jim Furyk (68 and nine-under) continues his good run with a third place finish, while Angel Cabrera (65) share the fourth place with Davis Love III (71), Lucas Glover (69) and Paul Casey (71) all at eight-under 272.
