Former Pak cricketer Wasim Raja passes away

London: Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Raja dies Wednesday (23 Aug, 21006) of heart attack while playing for Surrey Over 50s at High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. Raja was 54.

"Wasim had a big heart attack on the field," says sources.

"He felt dizzy, and mentioned this to the slips, saying that he felt he had to go off. He was carried off but then collapsed on the boundary." Wasim is the brother of Test cricketer-turned-commentator Rameez Raja.
