BMW-Sauber motivated for challenging fortnight Friday, July 21 2006 15:16 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
London:
BMW-Sauber insists they are looking forward to the next two rounds in the back-to-back races in Germany and Hungary, claiming they are highly motivated.
Following the French Grand Prix, the BMW-Sauber team along with most other teams, have been making the most of the last official round of testing before the summer break.
The extra workload however, is something everyone involved in the sport accepts as a necessity if they are to achieve the desired results.
"You accept long working hours in order to achieve success. If you can't muster the motivation to perform well, you don't last in Formula One racing for very long," explained team manager Beat Zehnder.
"The beauty of the atmosphere in Formula One racing is that the persons involved bring enough motivation along. Everybody wants too achieve sporting success, that's the only thing that counts, it's not about making money," he said.
BMW-Sauber are currently sixth in the Constructors' Championship just one point behind Toyota.
